1980 Australian Open – Women's Singles


Third-seeded Hana Mandlíková defeated Wendy Turnbull 6–0, 7–5 in the final to win the Women's Singles tennis title at the 1980 Australian Open.
This was the last time that two major finalists have not yet won their first major yet, this would later be occurred until the 1998 Wimbledon Championships, a span of 63 tournaments.
