Alban Lendorf


Alban Lendorf is a Principal Dancer with The Royal Danish Ballet. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1989. As of May 2014, Lendorf is a guest artist with the English National Ballet.

Education

Lendorf was trained at the Royal Danish Ballet School. He became an apprentice in 2006 and in 2008 he joined the corps de ballet at the Royal Danish Ballet, where he was appointed soloist in 2010. In April 2011 he was promoted to principal dancer.

Blue bird in Christopher Wheeldons Sleeping Beauty, Pas de sept in A Folk Tale, soloist in Etudes, Harlekin in La Sonnambula, soloist in Symphony in C, Dances at a Gathering, Other Dances, Donizetti Variations, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, young gypsy in Don Quixote, soloist in Bournonville Variations, Les Gentilhommes, Les Lutins and The Jockey Dance.

Other appearances

in Sir Frederick Ashton’s Romeo and Juliet in London.
In August 2010 Lendorf and Hilary Guswiler danced La Sylphide and The Flower Festival in Genzano at Vail International Dance Festival 2010 in Colorado, USA.
