Bhiwani Junction railway station


Bhiwani railway station is located in Bhiwani district in the Indian state of Haryana. It serves Bhiwani.

History

The Rajputana-Malwa Railway extended the wide metre gauge Delhi-Rewari line to Bathinda in 1884. The Bathinda-Rewari metre gauge line was converted to wide broad gauge in 1994.
The Bhiwani-Rohtak link was laid in 1979.

Infrastructure

Bhiwani railway station is at an elevation of and was assigned the code – BNW. Now Bhiwani-Rewari line has expected to be double in 2016.
