California's 26th State Assembly district is one of 80 California State Assembly districts. It is currently represented by Republican Devon Mathis of Visalia.The district straddles the southern Sierra Nevada. It encompasses part of the southeastern Central Valley, where most of its population resides, and nearly all of the Owens Valley.
