Carl Hamilton (diplomat)
Carl Hamilton - Swedish baron, cabinet secretary, diplomat and county governor. He was born on February 9, 1890 in Bo socken and died on June 8, 1977. He graduated from the Stockholm University. He was awarded the grand officer of the Order of the Crown of Italy, the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St. Olav, the King Gustav V's 70 year anniversary award, the Grand Cross of the Order of Leopold II, the Decoration of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria, the Order of the Cross of Liberty, the Grand Cross of the Order of Orange-Nassau, the Grand Cross of the Order of the White Rose of Finland, the Order of the Polar Star - Commander's Grand Cross, the Grand Cross of the Order of the Dannebrog, the Knight 1st class of the Order of Vasa.
