Main
- Annie LeBlanc as Rhyme McAdams, the main character of the show. Out of all the other Chicken Girls has had the most extracurricular activities as she was a dancer in seasons 1 and 2, a drama club member in season 3, a writer in seasons 4 and 5, and a cheerleader in season 6. Apart from being a Chicken Girl she is not very social, but does find very quite interest in different boys, she has had the most boyfriends out of the rest of anyone in the show.
- Hayden Summerall as Tommy “T.K.” Kaye, Rhyme's childhood friend and boyfriend in between the movie and season 3. He can be socially awkward at times but always knows how to help out his friends. He eventually moves to Texas after his parents get divorced. When they get back together, T.K. moves back. His older sister is Birdie Kaye.
- Hayley LeBlanc as Harmony McAdams, Rhyme's 11-year-old sister. Unlike Rhyme, Harmony is quite feisty and is not afraid to speak her mind. She has a sisterly relationship with Astrid.
- Brooke Butler as Ellie Mack, Rhyme and Quinn's best friend. In the first couple of seasons, Ellie is quite quirky and boy-crazy. She is passionate about many things such as debate, singing, and dancing. In season 3, Ellie joined the queen Bs but then left eventually when she realized that the Chicken Girls were her real friends even if it meant not being in the most popular group at school or on the dance team.
- Mads Lewis as Birdie Kaye, T.K.’s older sister, close friend of the Chicken Girls, Rooney’s best friend, and former captain of Attaway Dance Team. She is passionate about dance and can be very competitive, although when her parents split up she struggles with a "bad girl" phase that leads her into a car accident.
