Comet Lake

Comet Lake is Intel's codename for the fourth 14 nm Skylake process-refinement, following Whiskey Lake for U-series mobile processors and Coffee Lake for others. Intel announced low power mobile Comet Lake-U CPUs availability on August 21, 2019. Intel announced 10th generation Intel Core H-series mobile SoCs on April 2, 2020. Desktop Comet Lake-S CPUs were announced on April 30, 2020. Intel announced Xeon W-1200 series workstation CPUs on May 13, 2020.
These CPUs are sold together with Ice Lake 10 nm CPUs as Intel's "10th Generation Core".

Generational changes

All Comet Lake CPUs feature an updated Platform Controller Hub with CNVio2 controller with Wi-Fi 6 and external AX201 CRF module support.
