Edmund Rous


Sir Edmund Rous, of Dunwich, Suffolk, was an English politician.
He was a Member of Parliament for Dover in 1555, Great Bedwyn in April 1554, and Dunwich in November 1554 and 1559. He was knighted c. 1550.
He was appointed Vice-Treasurer of Ireland for c.1553 to 1555.
He married Mary, the daughter and coheiress of a Paynell of Lincolnshire and had 1 daughter.
