Elizabeth Safrit


Elizabeth Scott Safrit is an American model, journalist, and beauty queen. She was crowned Miss United States 2014 on July 6, 2014 and represented the United States at Miss World 2014 on December 14, 2014 at the ExCeL London in London, England where she was crowned 2nd runner-up along with winning the Multimedia Award and becoming Continental Queen of Beauty of the Americas.

Early life

Elizabeth Safrit was born and raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Safrit also graduated from a graduate program at Georgetown University where she received her Masters of Public Relations and Corporate Communications degree in 2018.

Pageant experience

Safrit competed in her first pageant when she was a freshman in college in the Miss Cabarrus County Scholarship Pageant. In 2012, she placed 4th Runner-up at Miss North Carolina USA 2013, lost to Ashley Love-Mills, who would go on to place in the top 10 at Miss USA 2013. On July 6, 2014 she competed for and won the title of Miss United States 2014 and represented the United States at Miss World 2014 in London, England on December 14, 2014. She was crowned 2nd Runner-up to Miss World along with winning the Multimedia Award and becoming Continental Queen of Beauty of the Americas. Safrit also finished in the Top 3 in Talent and Top 15 in Interview at Miss World.

Personal life

Safrit is engaged to British professional golfer, Charlie Bull, whom she met in 2013; and resides in Orlando, Florida at the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club with their dog Beckett.
