- Epidius, a Latin rhetorician of the first century BC, who taught both Marcus Antonius and Octavian.
- Gaius Epidius Marullus, tribune of the plebs in 44 BC, removed, in conjunction with his colleague, Lucius Caesetius Flavus, the diadem which had been placed upon the statue of Gaius Julius Caesar, and attempted to bring to trial the persons who had saluted the dictator as king. Caesar, in consequence, deprived him of the tribunate, by help of the tribune Gaius Helvius Cinna, and expelled him from the senate.
