Erbalunga
Erbalunga is an ancient village in Corsica, in the municipality of Brando in the French department of Haute-Corse. The town has been occupied since prehistory. The village is the site of the 16th century Torra d'Erbalunga.
The town's Saint-Érasme church has a baroque facade. In the chapel adjacent to the church are 14th-century frescos, on which Sainte Catherine and Christ are pictured. The frescoes are a monument historique. The port sheltered the chapel of the cemetery Madona del Carmine.
To the north of Erbalunga, in the Cintolinu district, is the monastery of the Bénédictines du Saint Sacrement dating back to 1862. The church is dedicated to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. It used to be a boarding school for girls.Gallery
