Gianni Di Venanzo


Gianni Di Venanzo, was an Italian cinematographer.
He collaborated with several notable directors, working on films directed by Michelangelo Antonioni such as L'amore in città, Le Amiche, Il Grido, La Notte and L'Eclisse ; Francesco Rosi: La sfida, I Magliari, Salvatore Giuliano, Le mani sulla città, and Il momento della verità ; Federico Fellini: 8½ and Giulietta degli spiriti and a film directed by Joseph Losey: Eva. His last film was The Honey Pot directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz.
His career was cut short when he died in Rome of viral hepatitis at the age of 45.
