There were 36 households, out of which 22.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.4% were married couples living together, 5.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.0% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.25 and the average family size was 2.67. In the city, the population was spread out, with 17.3% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 17.3% from 25 to 44, 27.2% from 45 to 64, and 30.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 48 years. For every 100 females, there were 113.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 109.4 males. History
Hadley was founded as "Summit Lake" on October 31, 1879. In 1880, it was renamed for the cities of Hadley in New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. It was incorporated as a village on September 1, 1903.
