Jacques Raphaël-Leygues


Jacques Raphaël-Leygues - writer and politician from France. He was born on December 18, 1913 in 16th arrondissement of Paris and died on November 12, 1994 in Paris. He graduated from the Lycée Janson-de-Sailly. He was awarded the Escapees' Medal, the Croix de guerre 1939–1945, the National Order of the Ivory Coast, the Commander of the Legion of Honour, the Broquette-Gonin prize, the Croix de guerre des théâtres d'opérations extérieures, the Grand Officer of the National Order of Merit.
