Canseco was born in Weston, Florida. She is the daughter of former Major League Baseball outfielder and designated hitter Jose Canseco, and former model Jessica Canseco. She is of half Cuban descent. Canseco was discovered with her friend, Canadian-born model Charlotte D'Alessio, at the Coachella Music Festival when photos of them, shot by photographer Bryant Enslava, went viral. She auditioned for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue of 2016 prior to her pictorial with Playboy. Canseco debuted in the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
