Justin McKay


Justin McKay is an American college baseball coach and former outfielder. McKay was the interim head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights baseball team during the 2019 season.

Playing career

McKay attended Shaker High School in Latham, New York. McKay then enrolled at the Briarcliffe College, to play college baseball for the Briarcliffe Seahawks baseball team.
In the 2008 season as a junior, McKay transferred to Queens College, City University of New York. McKay won the starting centerfield job for the Knights. He scored 11 runs, while hitting.270 with a.354 on-base percentage and 11 RBIs. McKay then enrolled at the Briarcliffe College, to play college baseball for the Briarcliffe Seahawks baseball team. McKay then injured himself before the next season began, ending his career.

Coaching career

McKay returned to Briarcliffe College to assist his former head coach Gary Puccio. In the fall of 2010, McKay left Briarcliffe with Puccio to become an assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson. On May 30, 2018, McKay was named the interim head coach at Fairleigh Dickinson. On May 20, 2019, McKay was relieved of his interim status.
