Kothao Keu Nei is a Bangladeshi television series was written by Humayun Ahmed, which aired on Bangladesh Television in the 1990s about the struggles of the gangster Baker Bhai.

Description

Kothao Keu Nei followed the adventures of the a small motorcycle gang consisting of Baker Bhai, Bodi and Mojnu. Through a series of dangerous adventures, Baker Bhai tried to keep control of his territory, while also trying to do what's right and protect the weak. In the end, he was betrayed by his friend Bodi, under blackmail that he will never be able to see his new-born daughter. He was not guilty of murder, he was deceived by a woman of a villa who used to run an escort business hiring girls, the activity which he protested. Such rebellion resulted in Baker Bhai's false trial and execution.
Kothao Keu Nei gained so much popularity, mainly due to the lovable rogu
e Baker Bhai who grew into one of the beloved fictional characters in Bangladesh, that people began mass protests against his execution. In spite of popular opinion, the television station stuck to the story and the series ended with the protagonist's death.
