List of awards and nominations received by Shah Rukh Khan
is an Indian actor, producer and television personality who has received many awards and nominations. These include 15 Filmfare Awards, five Producers Guild Film Awards, 17 Screen Awards and six IIFA Awards. He began his acting career on television playing a soldier in the Doordarshan series Fauji. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his debut film, the romantic drama Deewana, in which he played a supporting part. For the role of an ambiguous avenger who murders his girlfriend in the crime thriller film Baazigar, he received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. At the 41st Filmfare Awards, he garnered Best Actor award for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, which saw him play a young non-resident Indian who falls in love during a trip across Europe.
Khan played a stage director in the musical romance Dil To Pagal Hai, and was awarded the Best Actor award at the 43rd Filmfare Awards and Zee Cine Awards 1998; he was also nominated in the same category at the Screen Awards. For his portrayal of a college student in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, he received the Best Actor award at the 44th Filmfare Awards, Zee Cine Awards 1999, and Bollywood Movie Awards, and earned his third nomination for Best Actor at the Screen Awards. He played an adopted son in conflict with his adopted family in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham..., which earned him nominations in the Best actor category at the Filmfare, Screen, and IIFA Awards; he eventually won a Screen Award for Jodi No. 1 along with Kajol.
Khan's production, the film Aśoka, in which he also starred, was nominated at the 46th Filmfare Awards for Best Film. He played the title role of a rebellious alcoholic in the period romance Devdas, which earned him his first IIFA Award for Best Actor, among other wins in the same category at the Filmfare, Screen and Zee Cine awards. His performance in the romance Veer-Zaara earned him the Screen, IIFA and Zee Cine awards for Best actor. At the 48th Filmfare Awards, he was nominated for Best Actor for the films Main Hoon Na, Veer-Zaara and Swades, winning for Swades. His portrayal of a hockey coach in the sports film Chak De! India earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. For his performance in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, he earned the Producers Guild Award for Best Actor. He also received the same award for playing a man with Asperger syndrome in My Name is Khan, along with the IIFA Award for Best Actor. He received the Stardust Award for Best Actor and Zee Cine Award for Best Actor for the romantic comedy Chennai Express.
Khan received the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award, from the Government of India in 2005. In 2007, he was invested with the Order of the Arts and the Letters by the Government of France, and in 2014 he was conferred with the Order of the Légion of Honour, the country's highest civilian award. According to a popularity survey, 3.2 billion people throughout the world know of Khan, which is more than those who know of Tom Cruise. In 2007, Eastern Eye named him the World's Sexiest Asian Man. In 2008, Newsweek listed him among the 50 Most Powerful People In The World.
At the end of 2016, Khan announced that he keeps track of the awards that he has received, and that the total at that time was 267.

- 2004 – Time magazine selected Khan as one of 20 "Asian Heroes" under the age of 40; he was featured on the magazine's cover.
- 2005 – Khan was featured on the cover of National Geographic magazine.
- 2007 – A lifelike wax statue was installed in London's Madame Tussauds wax museum. Additional versions of the statue were installed at Madam Tussauds' museums in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, New York and Washington.
- 2008 – Another lifelike wax statue was displayed in Musée Grévin wax museum, Paris. Khan was the second Indian after Mahatma Gandhi to have his wax statue in the museum.
- 2008 – Newsweek named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the world, ranking him at number 41. He was the only artist and the only movie-star in the list. Newsweek subtitled his article as "The king of Bollywood is opening minds in some closed-off cultures" and noted, "Who is the world's biggest movie star? Brad? Will? Nah. His name is Shahrukh Khan, and he's the king of Bollywood."
- 2009 – Khan was declared amongst the "500 most influential Muslims in the world" by Georgetown University.
- 2010 – Entertainment Weekly stated on their Most Powerful List that Khan was the "megastar" of Bollywood.
- 2010 – Khan along with Kajol was invited to ring the opening bell of American stock exchange NASDAQ. It's an event usually reserved for CEOs of major corporations.
