Musa Khan (Bengal)

Musa Khan was the leader of Bara-Bhuiyans of the Bhati region. He was the son and successor of Isa Khan.

Later during the reign of Subahdar Ibrahim Khan Fath-i-Jang , he became loyal to the Mughal force. He actively participated in the conquest of Tripura and the suppression of revolt in Kamrup.

Death

He died in 1623 in Dhaka. He was buried in Bagh-i-Musa-Khan, close to Musa Khan Mosque. It is situated within a present-day residence hall compound of Dhaka University.
