Nicole Melichar
Nicole Melichar is an American tennis doubles specialist.
She was born in the Czech Republic, but has lived in Florida since shortly after her birth. Her older sister Jane played tennis, and Melichar claims to have taken up the sport when she was just one year old.
She has won seven doubles titles on the WTA Tour and one WTA 125K series doubles title as well as two singles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. In February 2019, she peaked at No. 12 in the doubles rankings.
Melichar won the mixed-doubles title at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships with Austrian partner Alexander Peya.
