Nikolay Tsitsin
Nikolay Tsitsin - Soviet botanist, geneticist and selectionist. He was born on December 6, 1898 in Saratov and died on July 17, 1980 in Moscow. He graduated from the Saratov State Agrarian University. He was awarded the Lenin Prize, the Order of the October Revolution, the "Hammer and Sickle" gold medal, the State Stalin Prize, 2nd degree, the Medal "For Battle Merit", the Order of Lenin, the Order of Agricultural Merit (France), the Hero of Socialist Labour, the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
