Paul Mazon
Paul Mazon - French hellenist, scholar, and translator. He was born on June 25, 1874 in Privas and died on February 13, 1955 in Paris. He graduated from the École pratique des hautes études, the Lycée Louis-le-Grand, the Collège de France, the Collège Stanislas de Paris, the École normale supérieure. He was awarded the Officer of the Legion of Honour, the Knight of the Legion of Honour, the honorary doctor of the Université libre de Bruxelles, the honorary doctorate of the University of Glasgow.
