Raymond Kaskey


Raymond Kaskey is an American sculptor and an architect. He is one of the most prominent civic art creator who is best known for the Portlandia sculpture in Portland, Oregon He was born in Pittsburgh. He studied architecture at Carnegie Mellon University and Yale University. A fellow of the American Institute of Architects, he received the Henry Hering Medal from the National Sculpture Society for his sculpture Portlandia.
Kaskey often threatened anyone who used portrayal of his work for commercial purposes with lawsuits.
