Saumlaki


Saumlaki is a village on Yamdena Island, in the Tanimbar Islands, Maluku, Indonesia. Its population at the 2010 Census was 12,462. Christianity is the main religion of the village, as it was visited by the Dutch in 1629 and claimed by them in 1639, although a lot of the town also follows original Indonesian religions. The village is very remote and outside access to it is limited.
