THK (company)
THK Co., Ltd. is a major Japanese company which manufactures machinery components. The company is known for linear motion guides, ball spline, ball screws and link balls. THK is reported to have 38 subsidiary companies, 13,000 employees and in 2017 had gross revenues of just over US$2.5 billion. THK is credited with developing the world's first linear motion guide, which is one of the company's important product ever since.Robotics
The company is also active in the field of robotics. In 2017 the company introduced a service robot named ARISA, a guide robot that will work in the subway stations of Tokyo.
