WWE Clash of Champions
WWE Clash of Champions is a professional wrestling event produced annually by WWE, a Connecticut-based professional wrestling promotion, and broadcast live and available only through pay-per-view and the WWE Network. The event was established in 2016 for the Raw brand, replacing WWE Night of Champions in the late September slot of WWE's pay-per-view calendar. However, the 2017 edition of the event was held on the December slot, and was a SmackDown-branded event. All WWE pay-per-views ceased being brand exclusive in 2018 following WrestleMania 34, and although Clash of Champions had been announced for that year, it was later canceled and replaced by WWE Evolution. In 2019, Clash of Champions was re-instated. Similar to Night of Champions, the concept of Clash of Champions is that every WWE title is defended; when the event was brand exclusive in 2016 and 2017, only the titles exclusive to those brands at the time were defended.
