Wo Mei

Wo Mei is a village in the Hebe Haven area of Sai Kung District, Hong Kong.

History

Wo Mei had a population of 66 in 1911, 30 male and 36 female.
The Chapel of The Immaculate Conception was established in 1930 and was consecrated on January 20, 1957 by Bishop Lorenzo Bianchi. The roof of the chapel was damaged by Typhoon Wanda in 1962.
