Zayed Khan (Bangladeshi actor)


Zayed Khan is a Bangladeshi film actor who has appeared in more than 25 films to date. He started his career in 2006 with the film Valobasha Valobasha. Since then he has appeared in films like Nagar Mastan opposite Pori Moni and Dabangg for which he was criticised for the film being vulgar and copied from Dabangg, a blockbuster hit Hindi movie. He was cast in Antor Jala instead of Shakib Khan, due to the director Malek Afsari's problem with the actor. The director found Shakib too moody and rude. He is the general secretary of Cholochitro Shilpo Samiti, the organisation of local film artistes.

Education

Zayed Khan studied up to class eight from Dhaka City College. He used to live in the house of sister in the Madhumita Cinema Hall, Dhaka. After passing the Higher Secondary examination he completed Masters from Dhaka University. They are four siblings and all have finished their studies Dhaka University. In 2012, Mrs. Shahida Haq, the mother of Zayed Khan, was rewarded as 'Ratnagurba'.

Career

Zayed started his career in 2006 film Valobasha Valobasha opposite Riaz and Shabnur. Later, appeared in another movie with them 'Mon Chuyeche Mon'. Later, he acted in 'Jomidar Barir Meye' opposite Amin Khan and Nipun. He also starred in 'Rickshawalar Chele' alongside Dipjol. He also appeared in a number of films like Prem Korbo Tomar Sathe, Toke Bhalobastei Hobe to name a few.
